Experience in dry shipping is essential and candidates that have worked for a global shipping firm are preferred. Knowledge and past dealings with matters including contractual breaches, infringement of ownership rights, manufacturing defects, insurance and reinsurance matters, portage, commissioning and decommissioning of vessels would be very attractive to the firm.
