The Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems Association has launched a free-to-access global database of local rules on sulphur emissions, ahead of the introduction of the International Maritime Organization 0.5% cap on sulphur content in marine fuels at the start of next year. Association’s latest estimate considerably higher than a previous prediction of around 3,000.
