Redstone Commodity Search are working with an oil trading company looking to add a bunker trading manager to their team in the US.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Responsible for managing a team of about 4 traders trading back-to-back physical bunker fuel in the LatAm markets (Panama, Mexico, the Caribbean, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Argentina, etc.)
• In charge of daily sales and trading operations including sales estimates, market data analysis, supply chain management, stock organisation and logistics
• Establish and develop relationships with local vessel owners, charters and traders
• Ensure credit risk management for both existing and new counterparties
• Reports into Head of Fuel Trading

Key Qualifications / Experience

• At least 10 years’ experience in physical bunker trading (Marine Gas Oil (MGO), Marine Fuel Oil (MFO), Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO), Marine Diesel Oil (MDO), Intermediate Fuel Oil (IFO) etc.)
• Solid knowledge of the US and Latin American bunker markets
• Strong understanding of trading across borders
• Excellent analytical and strategic skills
• Located in the US
