06DEC2017 - NEWS - MOL, Namura Shipbuilding & Tohoku Electric gets AIP for LNG powered vessel

Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL), Namura Shipbuilding, Tohoku Electric Power in their last development have received Approval in Principal (AiP) for a LNG powered coal carrier. The design ensures sufficient capacity for the LNG tank. Recently these three companies conducted a Hazard Identification Study (HAZID) of the deisgn.
