We are looking for a Logistics planner to join our Baltic Sea Scheduling and Inventory management team in Espoo.

Neste Logistics & Operations is a proactive partner to Neste businesses providing them with global transportation and storage solutions for feedstock and refined products in safe, sustainable and cost-efficient manner. As a whole we manage the transport and operations of over 30 million tons of cargo annually. Our global logistics footprint covers marine, truck and rail transportation as well as a large network of storage terminals in all parts of the world.
In your role, you will
Take part in the daily operative planning of our fuel supply chain
Manage traffic fuel inventory levels at the terminals
Compile and update short-term marine and rail transport plans based on the requirements of the customers, supply chain management, production and terminals
Optimize the supply chain of clean traffic fuels with other stakeholders in the Baltic Sea area
You will work closely with the senior planner. To succeed in the daily operative planning you and the senior planner need to maintain the capability to cover up for each other. In addition to daily operative tasks the planners are also expected to participate in development projects and longer term planning.
You will be in daily cooperation with both the chartering and the supply chain management teams to manage, update and optimize the transports. Also, you will communicate and collaborate actively with both internal and external stakeholders as well as participate to nominated key account teams.

Keys to success in this role
The Best Combination Of Experiences, Skills And Background Is
Minimum 1 to 3 years experience in the field of logistics and supply chain management
Understanding of liquid logistics as well as traffic fuels and their properties
Minimum bachelor’s degree in relevant logistics, commercial or maritime field
Fluent English and Finnish communication skills, both spoken and written
Logical mindset and ability to work under pressure
Mastering the relevant applications (e.g. SAP, Jawa, ROMMS, Excel/Sheets, PowerBI)
We also value
Knowledge of oil and renewable products, their businesses and stakeholders
Passion to take things further and willingness to develop our common ways of working and required tools
Experience of Spiral Suite planning and scheduling software
Additional language skills, e.g. Swedish

The recruitment process includes interviews and aptitude tests. The first interviews are preliminary scheduled to take place on week 35.
