We expect that the right candidate has an educational background as Cand.Merc., Cand.Polit., Cand.Oecon. or similar and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience from a similar job. The job You will be part of a team of six employees in the department of Finance & Strategy and will play a vital role in providing the financial transparency required for obtaining our ambitious strategic business and financial targets within our growing Retrofit project business. The projects typically concern conversion of large 2-stroke MAN diesel engines for the marine industry to operate on gas fuel. The position will operate in close collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders involved in our large project business – from preparation of business cases in the sales process to the project monitoring and controlling throughout the project execution phase. It acts as a sparring partner for the business and project stakeholders, supporting and challenging them in creating a transparent understanding of cost and revenue flows in order to anticipate and mitigate risks and opportunities in our large projects. MAN PrimeServ is part of a large organization, so it is an advantage if you have experience from an international environment and feel at home in an organization with different interests and stakeholders. At the same time, you have strong people skills and you understand that it takes commitment and drive to create results. Key Responsibilities: Preparation and review of new large project business cases in collaboration with project sales managementEnsure alignment in the handover of new projects from project sales to project execution managementEnsure proper project set-up in SAP-PSControl and monitor large projects throughout the project execution phasePrepare and present financial forecasts of large projects to project execution managementProvide financial input of large projects to the business planning, annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processesEnsure that project approvals, invoicing and financial processes are followed in compliance with group norms and contractual obligationsDevelop and optimize financial tools and reports for building of new business cases and project monitoringAd hoc tasks and analyses.Qualifications The capabilities and personality traits you need to have:A relevant master degree in finance / economics, e.g. Cand.Merc., Cand.Polit. or Cand.Oecon.A minimum of 3 years of experience from a project controlling functionStrong management accounting and controlling skillsHighly evolved analytical skillsBusiness-oriented mindset with a focus on the significant drivers, yet the guarantor of the accuracy in the detailsStrong IT skills, preferably in SAP.
