12JUN2018 - NEWS - Greece aims to be LNG bunkering hub in Eastern Mediterranean region

With the project "Poseidon Med II" which is co-funded by European Union, Greece expects to become regional marine fuel bunkering and distribution hub for liquified natural gas (LNG) in the Eastern Mediterranean region. The "Poseidon Med II" project was initiated during mid of 2015 and it is expected to conclude by the end of 2020.
