Description
An opportunity has arisen to work for a leading shipping company within their bunker services division which delivers bunker trading and brokerage services to shipowners and operators to optimise fuel procurement.

As a Bunker Trader you will develop long term business relationships with current and potential clients. Responsibilities will include the following;

• Conducting market research to identify prospective new customers and winning new business
• Business development activities with potential new customers
• Bunker procurement activities
• Planning ideal bunkering ports for the voyage the vessel is planning
• Managing bunkers for the internal fleet
• Liaising daily with existing external customers
• Liaising daily with suppliers
• Maintaining and improving the Bunker Trading Platform

To be a suitable candidate for this opportunity you should have proven experience as a Bunker Trader with the ability and drive to develop new business and can demonstrate a strong sales track record.   Working level proficiency of Korean is a must to liaise with Korean speaking clients.

This role is currently open to candidates based in Singapore with ready working entitlement only.
