Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• In charge of managing the key account of a large marine fuel client
• Develop and maintain additional third party business (back-to-back trading MGO, MFO, HFO, MDO, IFO etc.)
• Monitor the bunker market to identify new opportunities to maximise profits and grow the business
• Liaise with suppliers, ship owners, charterers and operators to ensure a smooth supply chain and maximise deal values
• Reports into Managing Director

Key Qualifications / Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in physical bunker trading or a solid history in bunker operations with commercial experience in Marine Gas Oil (MGO), Marine Fuel Oil (MFO), Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO), Marine Diesel Oil (MDO), Intermediate Fuel Oil (IFO) etc.
• Excellent knowledge of the shipping industry and marine fuel products
• A transferable portfolio with contacts is highly desirable
• Strong leadership, negotiation and business development skills to develop a trading desk
• Located in Riga or home office
