Candidate Requirements Example

• Minimum Degree/Diploma in any discipline
• Minimum 1-2 year experience with the marine, supply or oil bunker industry (preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Able to travel on short business trips
• Do not mind working the odd hours and likes meeting people
• Able to go around representing the company and meeting the sales targets set by the company
• Good knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc). IT Proficient

Job Role (Responsibilities & Duties) Example

• Work on daily inquiries, cover suppliers, negotiate, book stems, and secure margin
• Facilitate transactions between a Bunker supplier and ship owners or ship charterers and work with agents at various ports for delivery of bunkers for vessels
• Do research on market and explore opportunities to expand business
• Advise clients and customers of bunker grades and specification available at various ports
• Recommending clients on the most cost-efficient way for their bunker needs
• Identify trading opportunities and negotiate with suppliers and customers
• Establish good supplier and client relationship
