As Bunker Trader in Monjasa, you will join our teams characterised by proactivity, dedication, and passion for the industry. Your primary role is day-to-day trading, focusing on sales and purchase of bunker fuel, as well as logistical planning to optimize profits, especially, focusing on the Indian subcontinent.
You will be in contact with networks all over the world and have an international exposure.

Areas of focus

• Support trading department in ensuring optimal client satisfaction
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination of fuel supply
• Provide internal support for surveying ports/regions, tracking vessel movements, coordinating fuel delivery and compiling/disseminating market reports
• Develop and maintain a stable portfolio of clients
• Promote Monjasa’s physical supply network and focus areas
• Ensure optimal client satisfaction by providing specialist advice in bunker solutions, smooth coordination of fuel supply and solving claims/disputes

The ideal candidate - professional skills

• Experience from the shipping, maritime, or oil industry especially in bunker trading and/or supply
• A good network within the shipping community is a plus
• Sales experience with documented results
• Fluent in written/oral English. Fluent in Hindi or any other Indian regional language will be an added advantage
• Bachelor degree holder
