Job Description
We are a regional leader that engages in the physical trading of oil and petroleum products with a primary focus in the physical supply of marine fuels and related products and services. 
We are expanding our trading desk and would like to invite interested and result driven candidates to send in their cover letter and CV for our consideration. The candidate should be someone who is serious about building a career in marine fuels trading who is passionate, hardworking and willingness to grow with the company. He/She should be someone who is able to execute his/her tasks diligently by delivering a positive P&L on a monthly basis. Experienced candidates with proven track record preferred. 
The principal role of a Bunker Trader is to facilitate the transactions between a bunker supplier and the ship owner or ship charterer, it includes the purchase of fuel in a trader capacity. 

Job requirements

• Experience with proven track records in your previous jobs. 
• Strong contacts within shipping network. 
• China, Middle East, India, European shipping networks would be good. 
• Develop new business opportunities and accounts. 
• Fast thinking, excellent communicator and good negotiator. 
• Exceptional team player and excellent interpersonal skills. 
• Continually research the market and always on the look out for new opportunities. 
• Work as part of a team and report to the Trading Manager. 
• In the event of any disagreements or claims, this position is required to manage any claims arising and assist with legal actions. 
• Ability to carry out analysis and monitor demands around the world. 
• Work outside normal working hours, hence a degree of flexibity is an advantage.
