18OCT2018 - NEWS - Stena Bulk announces plans to install scrubbers on 15 vessels

Stena Bulk recently announced it has a turnkey agreement with Shanghai-based Bluesoul to equip its Suezmax and IMOIIMAX ships with exhaust gas scrubbers. In total, Stena Bulk will equip 15 vessels with the scrubbers with options for six additional vessels all for installation prior to 2020. Bluesoul is the first Chinese enterprise to be awarded Lloyd’s Register Exhaust Gas Cleaning System Machinery General Design Appraisal as well as DNV GL and ABS AiP. The company has had a collaboration agreement with the Stena group for more than a year.
