Position Summary

Thomson Reuters Oil Research and Forecasts is looking for a dynamic individual to join the team as a Senior Analyst covering the Asia Fuel Oil market. The Oil team is part of Thomson Reuters Commodities Research, which is a team of more than 150 analysts committed to delivering insight and intelligence to the physical and futures markets.  The successful candidate is expected to lead the coverage of the Asia Crude Oil market from an Oil Flows perspective. Role Responsibilities

• Produce the daily real-time Oil Flow assessments, working with the Dirty Oil Products team
• Studying and making assessments of vessel flow movements
• Interact with market participants regularly, as part of the assessment process
• Leveraging deep domain expertise, vast data resources, and the Thomson Reuters Eikon platform
• Act as trusted partners of commodities professionals worldwide

Required Skills and Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in the physical Fuel Oil/Bunkers market from the trading and/or reporting perspective
• Sound knowledge of Fuel Oil flows globally and deep market-level contacts from across the trading spectrum, encompassing front-line traders to the broad shipping community
• Analytical and numerate with good Excel skills, to form short-term views of the Fuel Oil market
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate those views clearly and concisely via regular reports to a professional audience
