Key Responsibilities:
Oversight and management of the entire bunker procurement process from query to stem confirmation for the Maersk Tankers controlled tonnage and pool operated vessels.
Ensure procedural compliance related to quotations, enquiries, sales, confirmations of bunker procurement.
Follow up and update Commercial Operations on bunker delivery schedules.
Analyze and benchmark purchases, market scenarios, and changing fundamentals and provide appropriate reports to Commercial Management.
Gather intelligence through purchase analysis, changing market scenarios, and apply the same to support contracts and procurements.
Liaise with operations team for optimal bunker lifts, providing support & guidance basis market intelligence.
Build a strong relationship with relevant industries to develop business opportunities.
Manage the optimal handling of all bunker claims in order to protect buyers’ interests.
Manage and oversee (Bunker Quality Survey) BQS contracts and appointments.
Liaise with the different stakeholders for effective implementation of the IMO 2020 change over.

What we are looking for:
Minimum experience of 3 years as bunker trader, analyst or similar role.
Proven track record of consistent bunker analysis, cost saving initiatives.
Experience in conducting market analysis and report writing.
Strong negotiation skills and orientation to detail.
Confident, persuasive and in possession of excellent communication and networking skills.
Willing to travel domestically and internationally to meet business partners.
Speak and write fluent English.
