22MAY2018 - NEWS - South Korea in action to develop advanced bunkering technology for liquified natural gas

South Korean Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries has recently launched a project with state research institutes, including the Korea Research Institute of Ships & Ocean Engineering and the Korea Marine Equipment Research Institute for developing advanced bunkering technology for liquified natural gas (LNG). The aim of this project is to develop advanced bunkering technology in order to raise the number of eco-friendly vessels supported. With this project liquified natural gas (LNG) bunkering facilites will be developed at the major ports including Busan and Ulsan.
