Navig8 supports the private equity and debt markets, offering structured products that let investors participate in time charter markets, project advisory expertise, and vessel management and/or ownership solutions.

We currently have a vacancy for a Bunker Trader to join our existing team in Athens. We are specifically looking for traders with experience in dealing with the local markets and you will need a few years’ experience in and a knowledge of this market along with a proven ability to develop business and a strong sales track record. You will act as a trader/broker for the supply of fuel to the Navig8 fleet and third parties through the development and maintenance of long term business relationships with current and potential clients. 

Summary of responsibilities:

• Conducting market research to identify prospective new customers and winning new business
• Marketing Integr8 to 3rd party customers
• Bunker procurement for a range of third party customers
• Planning ideal bunkering ports for the voyage the vessel is planning
• Managing bunkers for your own fleet of Navig8 ships
• Liaising daily with existing 3rd party customers
• Liaising daily with suppliers
• Maintaining and improving the Bunker Trading Platform
