Job Title: Bunker Trader, London

Role: Trading

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Physical trading of marine fuel (MGO, MFO, HFO, MDO, IFO etc.) within the European market; purchase bunkers and sell to ship owners and operators
• Maintain and establish client relationships, negotiating sales contracts between customers and suppliers
• Perform market research of industry trends to look for opportunities to expand company growth and identify market risks
• Guarantee that personal targets are met and ensure constant company growth whilst making strategic decisions
• Reports into the Head of Trading

Key Qualifications / Experience

• At least 2 years’ experience in physical bunker trading (back-to-back) within marine fuel oil sales
• Transferable client portfolio (producers/suppliers)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to travel for sales meetings with new and existing clients/customers
• Located in the UK or happy to relocate
