• Develop, negotiate and conclude crude and condensate sales and purchases. Manage commercial activities such as exchanges, freight and optimization group assets. 
• Develop new business and origination opportunities with particular focus on Middle East, US and Far East crude length and shorts. Use tools including derivatives to manage risks
• Assess customers’ credit terms and availability, negotiate payment terms, title transfers and all key contract items to achieve closure. Network and maintain relationship with market players 
• (i.e. producers, refiners, traders and end-users to keep abreast of market developments and opportunities. 

Key Result Area:

• Comprehensive understanding of Crude pricing and associated exposure management.
• Ensure all aspects of trade exposure are covered and well managed
• Strong understanding of crude assays, upstream and refining
• Excellent understanding of global oil markets, crude, product flows, freight, refining and pricing
• Ability to analyze market data and identify commercial opportunities
• Understanding and management of crude blending is a strong plus.
• Demonstrate a track record of trading futures, swaps and understanding of derivative markets for hedging and exposure management.
• Ensure all trading activities are conducted within appropriate authority limits, risk controls and internal trading guidelines. 
• Liaising closely with back office and trade finance ensure accurate and timely trade capture, position matching and mark-to-market 
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships within the industry and ability to develop new business relationships and capture new opportunities.
